Better health with swimming

Swimming is an exercise people choose for weight loss. This is a myth that you might have come across or have believed it at some point in time.  As a matter of fact swimming is for everyone who wishes to live a healthy life. Just like normal routine exercises are important for us, swimming too is not specifically for those who want to lose weight or fight illnesses such as arthritis.
Swimming is one of the best types of exercises as it helps in various ways that you might not already be aware of. Swimming is fun and really enjoyable thus people tend to think that it might not be as effective as running, jogging or walking long distances is. Quite a lot of people choose to go for swimming after work to relieve stress and freshen up.   1. you are an idiot. running burns 1 calorie per 1km run for each 1kg of body weight. The equivalent effort for swimming is every 300m. In 1 hour I can do 15km, while only 3km in the pool, so running as a 70kg person burned 1050 cal vs only 700 in the pool.
